About Me
I am an amazing and happy six-year-old little girl who was born with a rare condition called Schizencephaly. My condition, that only occurs one in every 500,000 live births, has caused me to develop hydrocephalus, optic nerve atrophy, a seizure disorder, global delays and cerebral palsy. The recent onset of my seizures, about three years ago, has not responded to the medications that my Neurologist has prescribed, therefore I continue to experience them on a daily basis. Being that I am "one tough cookie" and a natural optimist, my mommy and I are hoping to get me alternative therapy treatments in the near future. Though we are not financially able to afford these types of treatments at this time, we believe through hard work and the generous hearts of others, I will soon receive these treatments that has great potential to help me in extraordinary ways. Despite all my "difficulties" I manage to radiate a energy and allure with my precious laugh and golden smile. I reside in Pasadena, California with my Mommy, who is a full time student at Cal State Northridge, and attend a special day class at Roosevelt School.
