A message from Ailana's mother, Laurelin...
Many of you have asked what you can do beyond well wishes. Though admittedly, I feel uncomfortable asking for help, I understand that people like to help, and Ailana and I feel blessed and grateful for such generosity and humaness that others possess. At this time I am completely determined to raise money so that Ailana can receive alternative therapy/treatment that can possibly eliminate the seizures that she is afflicted by on a daily basis. This treatment could possibly improve Ailana's life in monumental ways. I cannot predict what other difficulties Ailana might face in the future, so I will continue to work with the Talbert Family Foundation http://talbertfamilyfoundation.org to allow people to make tax-deductible donations to the Ailana Fund. We will be using the money for Ailana's ongoing medical needs that entail caring for such an exceptional child.

Ailana's stander

This stander was given to Ailana by The Fatherees whom are our dear friends. Ailana currently uses her stander 3-4 times a week. Yet many days her seizures or meds give her subsequent muscle weakness, leaving her unable to bear her own weight. On her "good days" Ailana looks like a shining star standing for up to 10 minutes strong and proud.
